“I have been living within walking distance of this place for years. Never tried it because im such a picky eater. Decided to walk over there just to try something different.... WOW. Delicious. The most flavorful noddles & stir-fry type dish i have ever had. Steak in it was so great. The Gai Tod fried chicken bites were also delicious with a unique taste. Way better than some run of the mill boneless wings.
The seasonings and flavors on everything were crazy good. Still taste it after the meal is done. Taste like some master chef made you something homemade on a wok on a fire pit. Charred to perfection taste.

One of the better meals I have had in Phoenix. Caught me totally by surprised. Can't believe that was fast food at all. Think this might be a weekly thing for me now. My new favorite.

Staff was exceptionally nice & friendly too. Not crowded. No wait.
Can't beat it. I'm cheap too, but this actually felt worth the tad bit higher prices.
Almost seems silly to have the horrible Chinese takeout, bad pizza places,crappy panda express, or bland Chipotle ever again instead of this place.

“I have gotten the combo which has crispy chicken and steamed chicken and it comes with rice, cucumbers, a broth, and then I got the Thai sauce. Highly recommend the Thai sauce. And the pomegranate tea. The steamed chicken is so moist and tender. It’s literally unreal. The crispy chicken is so good. It doesn’t feel way down. Everything is light.
It’s so clean. This is my first time will be coming back.“

As entrees we had the short ribs, crispy pork belly with broccoli and a chicken and noodle dish and it all was super tasty. “This is our favorite Thai restaurant! I've been ordering the pad Thai for the past two years and it was amazing. It's been a few months since we ordered and today the Pad Thai was on a different level. I literally said OMG after every bite. The noodles are thinner and the sauce sticks perfectly to them( we used to order extra sauce since it was a tad thin). Sauce is a little sweet while the heat(I do medium) accompany it perfectly!“

I’ve lived in Phoenix over 6 years and had driven right past Reign of Thai so many times without thinking twice. Don’t let the humble exterior fool you — tucked next to a car shop under the mountains on Cave Creek Road, this place is an absolute hidden gem of Thai cuisine.
Walking in feels like stepping into a colorful, welcoming space, very clean and larger than it looks from the outside. The vibe is friendly and laid-back. The restaurant is take out only unless booking a private party.
The menu is filled with authentic Thai classics — from Pad Thai and Green Curry to Panang Curry, Tom-Kha (Coconut Soup), and Beef Teriyaki, all prepared fresh to order with high-quality ingredients. You can order on

My dish arrived piping hot and the Thai noodles literally melted in my mouth — the flavors were complex, balanced, and bursting with freshness. I loved that they had more unique options beyond the typical shrimp, beef, and chicken — even seafood choices like squid and 🐙 featured on their menu.

Service was phenomenal — very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. When I visited, lots of locals were there in person and many others were ordering online for pickup or delivery, which seems to be a popular choice.
Just note their limited hours: Tuesday through Sunday, 4:00–7:00/8:00 PM, and sometimes they close for holidays or personal reasons, so it’s best to call before you go.

Only disappointment was the dessert menu wasn’t available the day I went (not sure if permanent). Still, this spot is a must-try if you love real Thai food! I would also recommend for those who have allergies to foods please check ingredients before ordering. My dish did come with nuts which was a pleasant surprise for me the addition of nuts to the dish gave it a burst of flavor. However for those with allergies, I would definitely check the ingredients because the ingredients they use are very authentic. So my allergy people please check before ordering because the ingredients and flavors they use are very unique and we don't want anyone having an allergic reaction. A must try for all they also have a lot of vegetarian dishes. The prices are a little bit on the pricey side the entree dish runs between 17.00 to 25.00. which is probably about average in today's market.“

“First timer I got the spicy noodles with tofu. My only complaint is there wasn't a lot of noodles. It was mostly chopped vegetables and bean sprouts. The taste was great. But for 17 bucks for lunch I expected a bigger portion than what I got. I don't think ill be returning.“

“I like this place so that’s the reason I didn’t leave a one star for this issue.. the AI fake lady answering the phone. I hate that. I hate that it was someone’s real voice and that they even added “restaurant background noise” for it to sound more real.
“She” couldn’t complete my order and then tried to connect me to the restaurant and no one answered (tried 5 times). Got to the restaurant and there’s two screens to order. Hate that too.
I get it, you don’t want to pay more employees but you’re killing the one girl that’s busting her butt packing to go orders. That’s why no one was able to answer the phone, because she’s too busy. I felt bad even having her enter in my order manually because she’s so busy.
Use of these technologies might be money saving but I hate them and they make for a poor experience.“

“This place is very cohesive and well lit! i went for lunch on a Monday and had the orange chicken lunch meal. first came the egg drop soup and WOW it was perfectly seasoned and very warm! the main plate came out soon after and the portion was well balanced veggies protein and rice (maybe a bit large for me portion size). everything was well cooked and well seasoned! i did add some chili pepper cuz i like it spicy. the server was SO nice the whole time, even after i spilled water 😮‍💨, and was quick to help! if i lived over here id come here everyday!!“

“I haven’t stopped in since July ‘24. The biggest improvement, the vibrant young gal working the front register and etc. She was very energetic, positive, quick, and friendly (compared to the man that was there always in the past -not the owner/chef, a diff guy). She’s a GREAT addition to your place!

The chef makes The Best Katsu Chicken. It’s made with Panko bread crumbs which also make a huge difference vs other crumbs.

I had to get the Pineapple Fried Rice w BBQ Chicken as this is a favorite of mine. There are so many flavors and textures! Please know my photo, I personally chop my grilled chicken up into small dice so the dish has equal bites.

The portions are large to share or have left overs, which I love!

I also recommend their Sticky Rice and Spring Rolls/Lumpia, so delish!
