Very quaint and pleasant spot for a date night or a small group outing. The food we had was solid in preparation and presentation. I had the braised ribs. They were very good. Not the best I've ever had, but still more than above average. We went here before a concert at the basketball arena (withholding the current name because it changes so much). Service was mostly attentive and polite. We were able to have a nice, relaxed meal with plenty of time to get to our seats.
We went here for my wifes birthday and it was a wonderful experience! The food is fantastic and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend the Farish House!
What a charming restaurant. I love how they kept the rooms divided, as it was in the 1920’s. The parlor was darling and the dining room was perfect for an intimate dinner. The decor took me back to a bygone era.
The service was fantastic. We shared the dates, which were delicious, just needed a touch of salt or citrus to balance the dish better. I ordered the filet. Perfectly cooked—medium rare. But, the sauce was on the sweet side and really needed an acid...
