My husband wanted to surprise me with my favorite chicken wings. I have had Uncle Sams wings before and I was happy. The wings my husband got today were not crisp, they were soggy and gross. I called the store only to be told that they are award winning wings, not on my table.In this day when we treat ourselves to a meal out, my expectation is a bit more than this.

Ordered at the counter. Later I needed help, so went to the counter. Many people standing around, but no one looked up/made eye contact to see if I needed anything. Finally caught someone's attention to get me a glass of water. We don't eat pork, so I asked what the meatballs are made from. They are made with pork and beef, the ground beef (also made with pork! Not mentioned on menu), so ordered steak calzone. Then ordered the chicken parmesan grinder. Food was good I didn't feel the restaurant was very clean and a bit worn down. especially the front patio. Food took longer than was told (10mins was actually closer to 30min).

The hoagies and grinders are amazing. My personal favorite is the cheesesteak with sweet peppers. The price for beer is also super cheap.

We come to this restaurant at least 2-3 times a month for lunch...it's THAT good! The food is fresh, tasty and comes in copious amounts. The service is FANTASTIC and the atmosphere is low-key; perfect for weekend lunch with children in tow.
