Ho-hum. The food was okay but not great. I had the chicken pot pie which looked great but it was very salty and the chicken was tough. The desert pie was kind of sad looking, like someone almost sat on it but it tasted okay. The service was very good.
I like Village Inn overall, but they've really cut back on the menu options. I don't know why. I'd still eat there even there weren't free pie on Wednesdays. I appreciate the non-dairy creamer choices for the coffee, since I'm lactose intolerant, like so many other people. I miss the veggie skillet I used to get there. They have a new one, but I sure don't need a plate of pancakes with everything I order.

Village Inn used to be a great place to eat all the time. Now I recommend you visit during the morning. Usually the food is made better and the morning staff are a little more attentive.
