Went here for the first time last Saturday at 5:30 pm and it wasn’t busy at all. There is a lot of seating there and some nice booths with good privacy. The sushi was really good and fresh and came out super quick. We got a Las Vegas roll, Tiger roll (which was our favorite), and the shrimp tempura roll. We also tried the gyozas which were very good as well, nice and hot. I got the Tokyo Mule and my wife got the Moscow mule and both were very good. I also got a cosmopolitan...
We always have a wonderful experience at Yama! They have the freshest fish and their service is alway above and beyond. We have had Ginger as our serve a few times now and she is the best! She is kind, quick and always makes us feel welcome! Ginger, thank you for being a shining light in this world, keep being you!
Genuinely one of the BEST sushi places in all of phoenix. Price to quality ratio is insanely good, fresh tasty fish, and everyone on staff is super sweet and friendly and very attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back many times and telling everyone to go here lol
