“Stopped in on Taco Tuesday and had 3 shredded chicken soft tacos, chips and salsa and an iced tea for 11 bucks.The tacos were stuffed and delicious. 3 is definitely a big lunch. Nobody leaves Barbie's hungry. Just delicious, and the setting is a bit "rustic", but clean and somehow fitting.Barbie is such a pleasant person. Always grateful to see you. “What a gem of a place! Hidden off the beaten path, Mountain Quail Cafe is superb.The atmosphere is quaint. The booths are HUGE but they do a good job splitting them up as well as welcoming you in to sit down, anywhere.Awesome home cooked food with a little bit of everything on the menu. Ranging from breakfast to dinner. Everything from omelets to over easy eggs- pies, ice cream, and bread pudding, to home made oven roasted meats with fish fry and clam chowder Fridays!Really great establishment.
