“Wow!!! After seeing a few videos pop up, we decided if we were ever in the East Valley, we’d give it a try, and I’m so glad we did. Classic Texas BBQ, with a little Arizona kick. We tried almost everything, missing beef ribs by a day and holding off on pork ribs, but that leaves them for next time. The staff was tremendously friendly, upbeat, and informative. When I circled back around for a turkey slider (the only protein we didn’t try), I joked about it, and received a slice, cut in three for our party size to try. And thank God because we stuffed ourselves on Brisket stuffed baked potatoes (try the BBQ sour cream, it’s sinfully delicious), the General Patton - just do it. My tween and I decided the Arizona Gold bbq sauce was our fave. Then the sheet cake…the line was out the door the entire time we were there, but next time I’m asking - is that Dr Pepper I taste? All in all worth the drive and super excited to find out you’re expanding into Peoria!!!“

“I was absolutely blown away with the loaded baked potato with shredded barbecue brisket and the Carolinas Sweet BBQ sauce!!! it was absolutely delicious! The meat was so tender and juicy and the rest of the ingredients were fresh and delicious!! My husband ordered the pulled pork sandwich on the brioche bun and was so impressed with the flavors and tenderness of the pork. we also ordered waffle fries that were crisp and perfectly salted! we were very satisfied and will definitely order again.“

We've been to some of the top rated bbq places in AZ, and I can say without hesitation that Rudy's did it better than some of them! My only regret was that I was so consumed by the food that I forgot to take pictures to post! We tried the prime rib, baby back ribs, regular sausage, and the potato salad. And guess what, they offer samples! They gave us each a whole rib and slices of brisket to try. Hands down, such a pleasant experience we will be coming back for sure!“

My fav restaurant moved down the street and YUMMY Hawaiian food has settled into its space! Hapa Food offers five different mains in a variety of combos. Authentic mixed plate with macaroni salad and rice (who doesn’t want double carbs? I’d welcome a veg alternative) and some kim chee for bite. Took out the chicken and kalbi and it satisfied two of us. The kalbi had that great grilled char and the chicken was juicy and tasty. Take a look at their website for pics of the dishes and easily order ahead. There’s seating inside although decor is sparse, and the open kitchen shows how hard they’re working to make a fresh product.
