“The fry bread was made to order, and was hot and delicious. Weekday options include cinnamon sugar, powdered sugar, honey, and salt. On the weekends they also offer beans and cheese, and Indian tacos. Each fry bread fills the paper plate on which it is served. Each is large enough to share, but you won’t want to.“
“A wonderful place for a Sunday afternoon.“

“Excellent burgers and friendly service. As the sign states basically that each order is made fresh to order, so this isn't your typical fast food joint. This is a fabulous place. If you are in Cornville, Verde Valley area check this place out, it's super good!“

“Dogs only allowed outside. There are misters and they provide blankets and big bowls is water, but it was still much too hot to stay for a few drinks. The eloté nachos and chili dogs were really good. We inhaled them and a couple of drinks and were so hot, we had to leave. Great service by Raphael.“

“The view was good, service was good, food and drinks were fairly expensive.
And they ask you which kind of toast you’d like with your omelette, as if it’s part of the meal, to only later let you know it’s an up charge.“

“Years ago we discovered Moscato’s Restaurant. Being Italian, but never had the privilege of going to that beautiful country, I can only tell you how my Italian family cooked and this I know for sure: Moscato’s Chef creates dishes that are authentically rich with fresh herbs, olive oils and delicious tomato sauces. Just like my my family’s creations from their home towns. Not to mention other creations presented with a flare of beauty! Sorry for those that gave derogatory reviews. That’s what prompted me to write. Yes, it is a special occasion when we go, at lunchtime, and savor the artistic dishes. It is a taste of Italian cuisine, , maybe even better, my Italian friend , who travels to Italy, confided to me. See for yourself.“

“This is a great spot that surprised us. I did not expect to find good and authentic Japanese food in Oak Creek. The sushi was fresh and really good quality fish. They also had good Japanese beers that you don't see in a lot of places, such as Orion. Overall a fantastic place and worth a stop if you like Japanese food.“

“Very high quality Italian food that is made from scratch. We got a range of dishes and I would definitely say the best was the tortellini pasta, you can tell they made the pasta from scratch. I also highly recommend the buffalo wings which tasted really high quality and fresh. You also get a salad with the pasta and that one tasted really good too. It also had a good vibe and looked like an Italian restaurant. Please go here while visiting Sedona!“

“I had such a great experience doing wine tasting here! The gentleman who served us was friendly and shared great knowledge about the wine making process. My friend and I did the white & red flights for a very reasonable price. The pour size was good and I enjoyed the taste of the white wines the most. We sat outside, soaking in the beautiful weather and pretty scenery. The bathrooms were also very clean. Looking forward to coming back again!“

“Very pleasantly surprised as to the quality of food and service here. Went there 3 times in the row as I did not want to deal with the Sedona traffic and wait times. First night we had steaks which were excellent. Second night we tried their seafood (having lived by the ocean all of our lives we are very picky about our seafood) and I have to say; the lobster, shrimp and the scallops were perfectly cooked and delicious. The lobster (I did not bother to ask if it was from the Atlantic as we are always served Pacific lobster in AZ) tasted just as if it came from Maine. Finally, on our last night we had the pasta dish and the Salmon, again all perfectly cooked and full of flavor. One suggestion, if you order Salmon, get the Creole sauce on the side as some might not like this combination. This restaurant has it all: great food, nice relaxing atmosphere, nice wine pairings and the service (friendly, accommodating and efficient). Thank you for three memorable evenings.“

“It was a hot summer's day. The gang had been fighting off the pestering sickness that tailed behind the wings of the metallic eagle that brought them here. Discouraged and uncertain, we traveled from the land of the burgundy stained mountains southward toward civilization in Phoenix. Whether it had been a natural occurrence or divine intervention, the fuel struck near empty on the transfer from 179 to 17. We concluded that the nearest rest stop would suffice. Not to the imagination of the smallest scorpion, nor the wildest coyote, this choice would grant us the opportunity to encounter the most incredible specimen west of the Mississippi.
In ample timing we filled our tank, and in concurrence we decided to eat local before rolling the rubber back on the burnt and crooked freeway. With puffy red eyes, flesh made the color of roses from the direct line of fire that our Sun threw onto us; bellies now roaring, begging for sustenance, we made our way into the one and only, Filiberto's.
Upon entry, everything was normal, save for the furnishings that appeared to have been installed a century prior to our arrival. We were greeted by a young man, stoic and bearded with lenses in front of his eyeballs, he asked us what he could get started for us today. My associate requested a beef burrito. In that moment the ground shook, as if God himself had ruptured the Earth and craned Satan out from his sanctuary, only to cast further heat upon the scorched surface of the ironically named Camp Verde. The gentleman behind the counter asked one time,
"A la carte?" My associate could not understand, he took a chance at asking for a repetition of the words that were uttered by the speaker.
"A la CARTE" This time it was delivered with vigor and intent. The room got hotter and we became stiff and nervous. The silence was broken by the sound of a small bell coming from our right hand side. A small elder lady and her headgeared spouse entered the establishment. Unbeknownst to them, a bond was about to be forged in the hottest iron ever seen. My associate took the opportunity to thank the gentleman for his support, but had to ask
"What does that mean?" The bearded worker replied with a concise
"It means just the burrito." It was exactly what he wanted. A smile was drawn upon his face from cheekbone to cheekbone. The order was complete, and everyone was happy.
Since that day we had visited Filiberto's several more times. Each time until the last, our favorite worker was there. We all placed our orders 'A la carte'. Unfortunately on the final day, our old pal was no longer there. Perhaps he has found peace in another world, or he is chasing his dreams in a land more glorious than Camp Verde. Wherever he may be, I will always remember him and his wise words.
Let's all strive to live our lives 'A la carte'.
Parking: There is a large 2024 Black Chevy Suburban that does not leave the parking lot. Other than this, there are plenty of open spots with handicap accessibility.“
