“I windsurfed Maui for years. Honeymooned there. 16th birthday for my daughter. This place reminds me of Paia and Malawian. Such a friendly attitude. The food was awesome. It’s not like Mama’s fish house more quaint.“

“Highly recommend! I came in for lunch in between my clients, and there was plenty of seating available to get out of the heat. Service was welcoming and friendly, options for breakfast, lunch and full cafe and bar available. I ate the turkey club sandwich with chips and an espresso and I would recommend this, however, the entire menu looked delicious. If I'm ever out back in this area, I will definitely be returning.“

“Visiting from Seattle, love the atmosphere ~ an affordable way to get out in the sun and enjoy yourself whether you want to have a nice meal or get a coffee and read a book, it’s perfect. You can tell they put a lot of work to make it nice. Feels like a secret garden outside.“

“We stopped at this lovely cafe just as they were closing. Not only did they not chase us away, we were invited in and given the very best iced matcha ever! What fantastic customer service, I can’t wait to go back…a little earlier next time!“
“Six stars for Trevor at Crave Café, Omni Hotel & Resort!
As a 20-year Valley resident originally from Seattle, Trevor brings not only top-tier barista skills (the iced lattes my friend and I had were fantastic) but also an impressive knowledge of local spots to eat, shop, and explore.
What really stood out? Watching him connect authentically with several guests, offering recommendations, and delivering the kind of warm, attentive service you expect at a luxury resort like the Omni.
This is the level of hospitality that elevates a guest’s experience — the kind every resort should be proud to have on their team. Bravo, Trevor!“

“Enjoyed a delicious Sunday brunch al fresco in the beautiful courtyard while a DJ spun some great tunes. They had some really creative holiday dishes highlighting local ingredients. The espresso they service in their coffee drinks is top notch. Our server John was awesome and didn’t steer us wrong with any recommendations. We are already planning to go back for the wine bar and live music.“
“First time visit to Butterfly Wonderland. A great place to visit. I so enjoyed the narrates, helping to understand the history of butterflies. There was so much to see and having direction and information hello to understand that which I was viewing. The price is reasonable and it helps to go on Groupon.“

“Quill Creek Cafe at Grayhawk Golf Club is basically my happy place. If you’re looking for an excuse to soak up incredible views while enjoying some seriously good yummy food, this is it. I’m a frequent flyer here – no judging!! We often stop in for a late lunch after running errands or early dinner when I just don't wait to cook, and I will say, the vibes never disappoint.
One of my favorite things about Quill Creek is the gorgeous pond framed by brilliant red flowers, a few ducks casually cruising by, and golfers doing their thing in the distance. Dinner and a show!
Frankly, It’s like stepping into a golf-and-garden magazine spread and I'm here for it!! Honestly, I could sit there for hours (and sometimes do). Again, no judging! Sometimes a girl just needs to sit, enjoy the view and have someone else bring her food!
So friends, let’s talk about the food. The chicken wings are always crispy perfection, and I get the sauce on the side because leftovers are a must. They’re so good, you’ll want to savor them twice. And yes, these wings are some of my favorite in town!
Quill Creek is famous for their Chicken Pot Pie as a good friend told us on our very first visit, insisting that had to be our first order. It was and it continues to be a repeat favorite! This dish is creamy, flaky, hearty and because it's gigantic you will have leftovers! We’ve enjoyed it several times because once just isn’t enough. And I no longer want to make chicken pot pie at home! I mean it's hot in Arizona and I find myself cooking less and less!
Looking for gluten free, then a good option is the Club on Gluten-Free Bread. It's stacked high with layers of deliciousness and has also been on the repeat choice list. And for the burger lovers, the Cheese Burger is massive, loaded with all the toppings, and we always choose a side of Mac and Cheese served in a cute little cast iron skillet – because, well it's cute and delicious and why not make comfort food classy?
I so appreciate the staff here. They are super friendly and attentive without being in your face. The service always hits the right note, balancing checking in just enough to make sure you are well taken care of and balancing that with making sure you have what you need and that you never feel rushed. It’s the kind of place where you can kick back, sip a drink, enjoy the food and watch the world (and a few ducks or a wedding or two) go by.
The bottom line for me is Quill Creek Cafe is my go-to for an easy, fun, and laid-back meal with million-dollar views. Come for the food, make some new friends, stay for the scenery – and maybe a second order of wings.“
“Wow, what a beautiful and inviting coffee shop! Coffee Flats is a hidden gem tucked inside The Westin Kierland. The space is modern, clean, and welcoming, perfect for hotel guests or locals looking for a cozy spot to grab a drink.
They offer everything to satisfy your coffee cravings, plus smoothies, snacks, sweet treats, and even those last-minute essentials you might’ve forgotten to pack. I was pleasantly surprised that the prices were comparable to Starbucks, very reasonable, especially for a resort setting where higher prices are usually expected.
A big shoutout to Derrick (I hope I got his name right!) his customer service was exceptional. He was genuinely kind, attentive, and went above and beyond to make the experience enjoyable.
To any locals considering a visit: this would be a beautiful place to grab a coffee, relax outdoors, or catch up on some work, if parking could be validated. I’m not sure if Coffee Flats offers parking validation, but as a day pass guest at the resort, only $5 of parking was covered, which felt a bit frustrating after spending hundreds for the day.
That said, the coffee was incredible and Derrick made a lasting impression. Highly recommend stopping in if you’re at the resort or nearby!“

“Super mixed review.
Certain things are amazing here, others are awful.
The brown butter cookies and the two egg breakfast with bacon are absolutely 10/10.
If all you order are these two things, I promise you will be happy.“
“Honestly just really want to shoutout Cheyenne (hope I’m spelling it right) we came in at 6am on a Sunday and she was absolutely amazing and was so patient and helpful. You don’t get good hardworking people anywhere anymore! So refreshing to see good people still exist! Keep it up! :)“
