“Today, I want to thank Faith the cashier who kindly helped me find an online coupon. I apologized about having trouble figuring the Safeway app and she graciously reassured me she could help and she did! I really appreciated! Last time I tried to use an online coupon and asked the cashier, she (I will not name her) was so loudly condescending and irritated with me, I gave up. When someone asks politely for help and there is no other or very few customers in the checkout line, it should be part of the cashier's job description to help the customer. Some of us are older and didn't grow up with cell phones attached to our hands! So, again, kudos and thanks to Faith!“
“First time I've been here, and I'll probably add another star after I've tried more stuff. Don't be fooled by the name; their menu has way more than tea and sandwiches! I saw some great-looking curry, and Vietnamese rice dishes I was curious about. And I had the BEST iced vietnamese coffee I've had in ages. Daughter's boba was good too! Better than other places because they make their own boba balls!“
“It was modern. I was there with a large group of over 25 people. Ordering was a little backed up but overall it moved along. They had extra employees to help. The food was great. Plenty of spots to sit and eat. It was a positive experience.“

“First of all, never would have guessed this place was here! Watched a TikTok and saw this recommendation saying to skip Dutch in the same parking lot and head to New Penny. Soooo glad we did! Had a coffee date with my AZ bestie and drove 1hr to get here from North Scottsdale. My gf is on the westside. Walked in and immediately appreciated the welcoming environment. Very open and spacious with tons of seating including outside on the patio with a cabana-like setup. Super cute. The menu is huge with tons of not only coffee drinks but boozy ones too. I tried a new menu item - the Elote Avocado Toast. Yumm!! It was topped with pickled onion which is definitely a favorite of mine. The elote part of the toast was exactly what I was expecting. I also tried their highly favored Zebra coffee which I got iced. Sooo stinking good that I drank it slowly all morning. I paid for it last night with going to bed later lol, but it was worth it. My gf got a coffee which she also loved and oatmeal which was scrumptious too. The shop inside of local vendors was a lovely touch to walk through especially while you wait. I think everyone in Avondale must stop here because there such a wide range of people from Mom’s brunching with their babies, to grandmas/grandpas, to Firefighters ;). I highly suggest visiting and I know I’ll be back. Maybe next visit we’ll have time to walk the grassy area just outside with the bridge over the pond.“

“Went for brunch on a Monday. Food was good but lacked flavor and spice. Even the habenero salsa was bland. I get it, the majority of patrons probably don’t enjoy spice like I do. But it’s nice to have options. $5 for a side of toast was uncalled for. Service was great! Love the patio seating. We chose this spot for the mimosas, which left my bank account with a hangover.“

They have several different crepes both sweet and savory, and even have them in minis (so you can try more without feeling guilty), there are great drink options, and the atmosphere is clean and quiet in the day but sometimes has live music in the evenings. The best part of this restaurant is the customer service. The team is friendly, caring, and engaging, and speak both English and Spanish. Drope in and enjoy!“
“This is a really nice place to come, relax, and chill for breakfast or lunch. Parking is not great however, since it's a completely dirt parking lot, so don't visit after washing you car, or you'll be disappointed. Service is typically slow. Overall ery nice facilities and atmosphere. It's actually located in the welcome center of the community Lucero @ Estrella.Parking: Parking is completely made of dirt, which flies up as you drive and covers your entire car.“
