The el gordo picoso was massive and very good. Much better flavor and less greasy than filibertos

El Gordo Mexican Grill offers very delicious, home made food that is very filling, with a great amount of food for the money. The service is good, quick, and super friendly, though one customer noted a cashier could have acknowledged them sooner during a busy time. The restaurant is kept clean, with a nice and quaint environment and a great atmosphere, especially for those familiar with Mexican films. The menu is displayed up top and on paper, with many great options to choose from, and payment is accepted in cash or credit card. Free chips are up for grabs at a salsa bar with only two types of salsa, but also hot carrots and limes, and the hot sauce is FANTASTIC. Specific meals like the Bean & Cheese burrito, Carne Asada burrito, 2 fish tacos plate, and carne asada fries were enjoyed, with the burritos having a lot of meat worth every dollar. The Coke was deliciously sweet. Overall, it is a great spot to eat, definitely worth going here, especially if near the gas station.
