“We were greeted with friendliness when we walked in the door. The items on the menu were diverse and creative, with a mix of more standard fare. The food was delicious with an enjoyable mix of seasoning and well cooked fare. The wait was appropriate for the cuisine. A wholly pleasing experience.“

“I windsurfed Maui for years. Honeymooned there. 16th birthday for my daughter. This place reminds me of Paia and Malawian. Such a friendly attitude. The food was awesome. It’s not like Mama’s fish house more quaint.“

“I come here quite often with my family. The food is always amazing and the portions are very fair.
Only reason I'm giving it only 4 stars is because the employees didn't seem happy to be there and while they were nothing bad they were more just...indifferent I would say is the best way to describe it. I recommend take out rather than eating in.
Just think there should of more energy around the place. I understand that someone times it's just a way to pay the bills but providing a happy atmosphere and service it's what keep people coming back the food too of course lo.“

“We’ve tried a few poke places, and this is our favorite! Fresh ingredients, good portions, a nice variety, and friendly service. Even though other poke restaurants are closer to our house, we keep going to this one. I would have included a picture, but I’ve already finished eating the food.“

“I absolutely love eating here. Great food, great price, my only real complaint is parking can be a nightmare. So I just visit outside the real busy hours.

I always buy extra for later. This time it was bbq beef and bbq chicken combo, shrimp combo, and spam musubi (which is great with fried eggs for breakfast). Their Mac salad is great too!

“It was late night and I was hungry after working all evening. This was one of the only things open besides Jack in the Box or Fikibertos. So glad I chose this place! Ordered a large plate with the Honolulu chicken and it was delicious! The chicken was tender and the veggies and Mac salad were very flavorful. The drive thru moved quickly and the employees were very friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a new spot that stays open late. Food is really good.“

“My wife and I stopped in for lunch. We are outside on the patio. I ordered the fire chicken and BBQ chicken. While both were delicious, the fire chicken is appropriately named because it is fire!!!

My wife had the BBQ beef, which might have been the best dish.

Inside seemed a little warm, but outside was great. We will be back.“

“The Hawaiian chicken was amazing, super juicy with just the right touch of sweetness. The island wings and beef plate were flavorful and came in big portions, plus the staff was really friendly and helpful. The manapua dough was soft and fluffy, though the filling could have been less dry.“

“This review is for the Westheimer location in Houston. Love the food (Laau Pig is my love forever). Other dishes are super great as well. Love the staff. “Me and my lady come here often. She always gets the kalbi and I gotta say the kalbi here is one of the best I've had. Thought it was finally time to leave a review for a fantastic and friendly staff. Kitchen is usually insanely fast so the food is always hot and out to you in 10-12 min. Granted we come here between 2pm-4pm (best time to come, its slow amd quiet)“

“This was our first time here and it was so delicious! I had the loco mock and it tasted like I was back on the island. Sorry for no pictures it was that good. My girlfriend had the spicy garlic chicken that was delicious as well. Everything we had was great!“

“The food is decent. Not what I would consider true Hawai'ian plate lunch. But good nonetheless.

I would suggest that you order online and pick up and eat in or out. It takes quite a bit of time getting your food order when you order through the self kiosk and/or the cashier.“
