“Food was great. Everyone working the dinner shift on August 11th deserves a raise. While we were eating two Karens had a meltdown and began screaming at the employees. Staff was very professional and courteous. If management sees this please ban those customers from the store.“

“I stopped in on a whim and I’ve been dreaming about my lunch ever since!! It was soooo good. Warm rice with cold, fresh Hawaiian tuna & shrimp. I added some cucumber salad and the house dressing along with extra cucumbers, cilantro and friend crunchy onions. I wish there was a location closer to me!!“

“While visiting Phoenix, AZ with family, searched and checked out online locations of local restaurants in the area. Found Leo's Island BBQ nearby on Bell Rd/77th, right across from the Arrowhead Town Center Mall. Went there and decided on ordering the Family Meals for 4 People (w/Chicken Katsu, BBQ Chicken & BBQ Beef w/veggies, Mac Salad & Rice). Also, ordered extra 2-Scoop Mac Salad, 4 Musubis & 4 Chicken Egg Rolls. The food was excellent, the chicken and beef were tender and tasty, but the Mac Salad was deliciously on point. Exactly as I like it (umami flavor (maybe w/a little MSG (?? who knows, oh yeah!) marrying with the Rice & proteins). The counter staff was friendly and cordial, place was clean and the location ideal (other option rather than the Mall's food court) if you prefer Local Hawaiian Plate Lunch meals. Overall, We absolutely enjoyed the food and I'll be certain to visit Leo's Island BBQ once again before we leave home to Vegas and CA...
Sorry, no photos of the Musubis. GKids ate it all up before snapping a photo, plus half of the Mac Salad disappeared (Lol)...“
