Hawaiian Restaurants near Mesa, AZ

“Moved here from Oahu last year and have been chasing poke like on the island ever since. Well, today the search has ended! The poke is so fresh and delicious. I forgot to grab a pic of the poke because I was so excited to try, but there is a pic of the amazing malasadas! Mahalo for the amazing food!“

“it's a little daunting if you have never picked your own stuff before, but I generally picked everything I liked and it was pretty bomb. great place and the tea is good too“

“Great bowls, reasonably priced.“

“Came here with a group of 9 for my husband's birthday. Oh my. So good. I had the Ohana plate. - Mahi Mahi, Coconut shrimp, and Teriyaki Chicken with sides of mac salad and house salad. My fish and shrimp were so delish and portions were ample. I was full before I got to the chicken, so it's lunch for tomorrow! My husband had the chicken Katsu and beef teriyaki and was extremely happy as was everyone in our party. Grandma's Cake for the birthday boy topped off our night. Everyone said the cake was the best. Thank you Moki's for a delicious and enjoyable night.“

“Love this place! The love and passion for the food they create and serve is evident in the atmosphere! The staff makes you feel like family. The food is so authentic tasting and you don’t feel like “I could have made this at home”. Best Hawaiian food in AZ hands down.“

“The customer service here is a night-and-day difference depending on who you get. Zoe was an absolute gem—so sweet, amazing at her job, and she is the sole reason I will be coming back! On the flip side, Jess was incredibly rude, awful, and downright disgusting with her attitude. Zoe deserves a raise for making up for her coworker's terrible behavior.“

“I've been to this location a few different times, and the food has always been fantastic. I've had multiple of the dishes and never been disappointed. Meals come out fast and freshly hot, with filling and tasty options like the chicken katsu and crispy shrimp.

I've never liked macaroni salad because, in my experience, it is typically slimy and bland, but Ono's salad is the exception, and it's the first time I've wanted seconds. Another worthwhile side is the spam musubi, which is another example of the restaurant having better quality compared to the places I've visited with comparable options.

Ono doesn't serve fresh drinks; however, there is a cooler with appropriate Hawaiian beverages alongside the standard fountain machine. Customers can buy whole coconuts, and guava pies are sold as a dessert.

The interior design is simple but pleasant with hanging lights and a clean lobby with many seating options, including an outdoor patio. Tropical music is often played, and artificial flowers are at both the front and back of the restaurant. It feels humble, cozy, and distinct enough from other places even without having that many decorations.

It's a casual and cute place, and I'll be sure to stop by again for more rice and fish.“

“Everything was amazing and delicious“

“Always high quality at a good price.“

“The offerings are vast and the poke is delicious. The place is immaculate and affordable and it models a business be back consciouness about sustainability and the future of our environment and our planet.
Kudos. I'll be back often.“

“The food is excellent and the cleanliness is above and beyond… their health inspection in August 2026 found absolutely no violations!“

“Great food at a great price. Best Poke Bowl I have had yet“

“This is why I shop local!! Been meaning to check them out and I picked up a Maui plate with mac salad and katsu chicken after work. Best mac salad I've ever had and the katsu chicken was so well breaded and delicious. Also was super quick and the amount of katsu chicken I got for 12 bucks was amazing.“

“Love all the options here--so many fresh add-ins!“

“We were greeted with friendliness when we walked in the door. The items on the menu were diverse and creative, with a mix of more standard fare. The food was delicious with an enjoyable mix of seasoning and well cooked fare. The wait was appropriate for the cuisine. A wholly pleasing experience.“

“Great food and the owners are so nice“

“Two words.. Absolutely Delicious!!!!“

“We’ve tried a few poke places, and this is our favorite! Fresh ingredients, good portions, a nice variety, and friendly service. Even though other poke restaurants are closer to our house, we keep going to this one. I would have included a picture, but I’ve already finished eating the food.“

“Great food and super friendly service! The highlight was Choline, who found my purse after I accidentally left it behind and kept it safe for me. Everything was still there, even my cash. So grateful for their honesty and kindness! ❤“

“My son and i love this location, we've visited others and have left disappointed when we reach the rice and realize its not fully cooked. The rice is spot on and the portions are great, enough for my son and i to share! And the service was fast and knowledgeable.“

“The food is so good and so fresh!! Hands down the best poke bowl I’ve had and will definitely be returning. James helped me today and was so informative and patient with me being my first time in. Really good food and customer service !!!“

“Best Poke and friendliest staff in AZ!!“

“Great food egg rolls good etc“

“Ono Hawaiian!!! I was so happy to see this when I pulled in and a drive thru like for real!!! My favorite place to eat some amazing macaroni salad.... Yum!!! BBQ Hawaiian style beef and 😘 the best Katsu..... Delicious! 😋 service friendly and a smile, and a drive-thru..... Perfect 👌Ono you never let me down! Delicious 😋😋“

“This is my first time trying Ono. I ordered the BBQ Beef that comes with rice, veggies and macaroni salad. It’s more food than I expected. I was wishing it had more of the BBQ sauce then realized they have self-serve next to drink dispenser. I got some and all is good. I tried a similar dish in Hawaii that compares. Service nor Atmosphere was bad but it’s not a 5 star. Will I come back, yes ! I ordered the Guava pie, just sounds good“
