About McCormick Ranch Golf Club

McCormick Ranch Golf Club is a popular golf resort that offers two sets of greens and a serene, well-maintained landscape with waterfowl and lovely scenery. The course features a 15% email sign-up discount, and visitors can enjoy the nearby McCormick Train Park for a fun ride. The grounds are generally very well maintained, especially where it counts, with excellent greens and beautiful views. The practice range may show some wear, and tee boxes and fairways can resemble a muni, with some bunkers being rock hard and lacking sand. Despite this, the course's scenery and greens are highly praised. Players are advised to choose the appropriate tees to ensure an enjoyable and manageable round, especially since the course can be crowded during peak season. A helpful ranger is available to provide guidance on course conditions and pace of play. The staff can be very friendly and accommodating, as seen during events like weddings, where the team makes arrangements easy and offers great food. Overall, McCormick Ranch Golf Club provides scenic surroundings and a good place to play and practice golf, with amenities that cater to a variety of needs.

Two different play courses with challenging water holes and difficult greens with varying speed. Great golf
There was no starter around
I had the first tee time
But there were members already out on course no one told me.
The Palm course was surprisingly busy, with a lively vibe at the restaurant patio—though the single server struggled with the crowd. We played the front 9, which felt well-maintained with nice water features and mountain views, but the back 9 had muddy fairways and bumpy, moldy greens. Cart paths had potholes, and bathrooms were basic. GPS on carts was a nice touch, and ice kept drinks cool. A suggestion: add more staff during peak hours to handle the rush.
