Great homemade food. Service is great very accommodating. Portions are large.
They told us there would be a wait when we walked in. And there was. But it was worth the wait. The food was great. Everyone was really friendly. It was a good dining experience.
Great breakfast with my daughter. Will be back!

Bertie's Outlaw Roadhouse Eatery & Tavern is a fantastic breakfast and lunch spot in Show Low, offering ice cream, shakes, and a mouth-watering variety of pastries. The apple fritters are huge and the best ever tasted. The breakfast chicken fried steak is the best in the valley, and the breakfast tacos are works of art, each taco a meal. The Bertha burrito is huge and so good, with no cheaping out on the meats. The Hillbilly Hash was excellent both times. The entire staff is friendly and eager to serve, with great service and a waitress who refilled coffee without being asked. Tim the owner/manager has a great sense of humor, is a wealth of local information, and runs a tight ship. The restroom was spotlessly clean. However, one experience had the absolute worst service, with a dirty table, long waits for drink orders and silverware, forgotten toast, and the waitress never returning. Another diner had to flag down a different staff member who was very helpful and kind. Despite this, the food is amazing, portions are large, and the atmosphere is great. There is a large parking area behind the restaurant and lots of seating for larger groups. Highly recommended.
