This was my first time eating there and I loved the experience. The food was fantastic and since I'm trying to learn Japanese, I was able to speak to the owner and chef in Japanese which was delightful. Loved the experience and will start going more often!

It's been five years since I was last here, and only because I was away. It warmed my heart to find this establishment still here. My server, Nathan, was excellent. The portions were filling, and the atmosphere is great. I felt comfortable here.

Wonderful authentic Japanese dining experience. Nathan, our waiter was 1st class. Will recommend to my family and friends.

We visited Tanuki Sushi Bar & Garden recently and had a good experience.

I really enjoyed the sushi.

The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere with some very unique statues and items hanging on the walls.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

Overall, it was a solid visit and a place I would consider going back to.

I have lived in a lot of states and this is one of the best sushi restaurants I have ever been to. It is due to a combination of things - attentive service, delicious food, reasonable prices, and authentic atmosphere. My Dad comes with me once a year and Maggie has remembered him every single time. I don't know how she does it, we don't come often enough, but coming back is always like seeing old friends. We're lucky to have them in Sierra Vista.

Didn’t expect much for sushi in the middle of the desert, but this place was honestly really good. Fish was fresh, rolls were well put together, and everything tasted clean

This was our first visit and we enjoyed the food immensely (ordered too much!!!!). We had a big variety of sushi, tempura, beef and chicken dinners and hand rolls. Nathan was our server and was so pleasant, answered all our questions and was on top of everything for our table. We’ll be back again!

Love Love Love this Restaurant !!! Everything we have ordered is a pure delight. The owners are wonderful and we have fun with the staff. Food is outstanding. Atmosphere is small but very authentically Japanese!

Unfortunately their hours state til 8 on google but when we got there at 7:10 they are closed and not answering the phone.. kinda disappointed but any other time its been great!
