Had a lovely evening out with family hosting a relative we haven’t seen in years. The cocktails were amazing and the service top notch. We came for the food and the kitchen did not disappoint. I had a trio of different flavors of enchiladas. Amazing and filling. I highly recommend Barrio Queen in Tempe. Make reservations. This place is popular.
We've mostly gone to the Barrio Queen in Gilbert and loved it. Not sure if the Tempe location is different or if they all changed. The menu seems smaller than it used to be. Some of our favorite things are gone from the menu. Our server seemed annoyed when we asked about a couple of items and if they were gluten free or not. We ended up getting tacos because so many things that shouldn't have gluten and are usually fine elsewhere actually have gluten. The shrimp tacos...
Gotta start with saying this place is absolutely delicious! My bestfriend & I got the pork nachos, enchiladas suizas & the chicken tacos with the hibiscus paloma! The food hit me like a train with how good it was first bite im not even gonna act like it wasnt good from start to finish, my plate was cleaned.
