Chipotle Mexican Grill in Tempe

“I do not recommend ever getting delivery from chipotle. I’m not sure how my same order is completely soaking wet in juices making the taco or burrito or quesadilla disgustingly inedible. For reference, I live approx 1 mile away from Chipotle. I don’t know why my food can be completely different if I pick up the exact same order vs getting it delivered from someone via grubhub. I will never do delivery from chipotle again. Customer service was good and did offer me points on my account to essentially reimburse me for the poor experience but it’s not worth the chance.
I love the new Brisket. I have gone several times (ok more than that) and have tried the Brisket in tacos and quesadilla. Each time there was a big difference in the flavor of the Brisket. Sometimes it was really spicy, other times more smoky, sometimes not as much flavor. I never know what it’s going to taste like because it seems like it’s never consistent. I’m not sure how it can vary so much when I assume they’re using the same ingredients and ways to prepare every day.

This was our first visit to this location. It will be our last. The high point was the restrooms. They were the cleanest I’ve seen! The food was standard. Service was good, but not great. The person that appeared responsible for the lobby was kind enough to wipe a four seat table for us when asked. That was appreciated. She had been wiping equipment. Lots of other tables needed wiping but were not, at the time we were there (720 pm on 1/7). All of the low tables in the front section were wiped, and chairs stacked, like the store was ready for close. This was unfortunate, because our family was seated at the only clean low 4-seat table. A worker came into the dining room with a tablet and looked for a clean table to work at. She sat at a dirty 4-seat low top table. She neither cleaned the table nor asked anyone to clean it. A couple sat across the main dining area at the this 4-seat table next, which was not cleaned from the previous customer and worker. The topper was THERE WERE NO NAPKINS in the store. There were also no knives. The workers offered no explanation for why. Guests who wanted a napkin had to use restroom towels. All of this is fixable with some attention and pride by staff and management.“

“ordered a burrito and got a new employee to make it. she hooked it up on the size because she was new... i ordered two different meats (½&½) but got a whole portion of each...
with that being said, i didn't mind the extra but the poor new girl couldn't get the burrito to close and struggled with it for a couple of minutes with absolutely no help from supervisors or coworkers, all of which stopped what they were doing just to watch.
it still tasted great, belly was super-full, good customer service otherwise“

“Always clean and free of debris in the parking lot. The restaurant staff is always prompt and courteous at this location and food is plentiful and always tastes great and quickly prepared to make your experience great.

Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of access ramps and handicap spaces are available right in front of the restaurant for easy access to the front door“
