Loved our first visit to Cocina Chiwas and can’t wait to return! The ceviche was flavorful, the cocktails were on point, and the birra was excellent. We interacted with multiple servers and each person was very attentive and helpful— Maria was the best!
Cocina Chiwas deserves all the praise it gets. From the quality of the ingredients to the way the flavors are built in each dish, everything felt thoughtful and incredibly well executed.
We started with the roasted beets, and they were amazing. The sweetness of the beets paired perfectly with the creamy Greek yogurt and crunchy pistachios.
The real star of the meal, though, was the long bone short rib. It was absolutely out of this world....

Loved it all! Started with a tuna dish nor on the menu... plus the elote. For main dish we had the Long Bone Shortrib that was absolutely falling off the Bone and packed with flavor. We also had the chicarron dish... just enough cracking and so tender.
There was a new selection available for dessert. A corn cake... very moist, light and flavorful.
