We love this restaurant! The service and the food are exceptional! The only small downside is that it can be a little smoky in the restaurant due to the wood-fired oven. Don't let that deter you from going there because the food is amazing!
Josh and Tony were fantastic with their service, honestly, the sweetest! We got the hamachi and the chicken mole, which were so good, I'm going to dream about that fish. Our spice tolerance isn't great, but it was so tasty that we couldn't stop eating. They brought milk, crema and horchata to help us, without judging, and it made me feel very cared for. 10/10 great food, great people
Loved everything about Covina, food was excellent, portions generous, staff(Joshua was great!) was terrific, patio was really nice with an early fall breeze! Only concern was the same I have for a lot of nice places like this, really LOUD background music! Why spend all this time, money and effort on doing everything else so well only to have us yelling at each other at the table. They did turn it down when we got there because I could not hear the wait staff at all and the music...
