Okay so is the sandwich good? It's okay. The honey bun sandwich is more of a gimmick , honey bun by itself is good but the chicken just don't go with it. This one of those over hyped spots people like because their told to not because it's actually that good. Got a 2 extra hot sandwiches, no heat really. The greens were really good. The sauce was lacking flavor. If u gave me this or a popeyes chicken sandwich as a option, I'd go popeyes.

Showed up on a Sunday 20 min before close. There was other people in the store waiting for orders. The staff had the nastiest look on their faces giving everyone dirty looks. Your job is to serve customers until you close, not get mad at customers for coming. You don’t like to be at work past close time, find another job!! Don’t ruin other people’s day.

An awesome place to gather and eat in Tempe!!! First time in Arizona and this was a great cost-effective option for our large family - we sat outside and dined on some amazingly delicious chicken here - awesome chicken sandwiches with sauce, slaw, and pickles, the 3 piece tenders we got in a variety of southern (no spice, perfect for our sensitive grandma), mild, and hot with perfectly seasoned fries, cornbread mac ‘n cheese, a big chicken salad, and even a vegan chicken sandwich for our family with dietary restrictions! Highly recommend this place - the staff was working so hard to make sure all guests were taken care of during a Saturday night dinner rush and communicated clearly with our group and others. Appreciate their kindness, patience, attention to detail, and generosity! Way to slay Monroe’s in Tempe!!!Vegetarian options: Vegan chicken sandwich was awesome!Parking: Parking is behind the restaurant in a parking garage around the corner

This place has the worst service hands down of any restaurant ever. That may seem hyperbolic but my wife and I love the food here but the management is so incompetent that their inventory management and ability to retain employees is abysmal. The last 6 orders we have had for pickup have all been wrong. Go down the block to Houston's Hot Chicken, it's the same logo and menu minus the mac and cheese option but a million times better in terms of service.

Wow never felt unwelcome in a place before here. The staff makes it seem like a favor to serve you then it takes forever. Not to mention the self checkout style of ordering, like am I tipping myself over here? Expensive and not really worth it. 5 people working and beyonce blasting. Just wow.
