“Went to Chico Malo to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday and everything was outstanding! I noted in our reservation the special occasion and everyone at the restaurant made sure to give my husband birthday wishes - so special. Our waitress Brittney was next level and gave us excellent recommendations. The food was nothing I can even describe it was so unbelievable and I am dreaming of when we can go back. Then to top it all off Brittney brought out sparklers and the most delicious bowl of ice cream for desert to celebrate my husbands big day. Highly, highly recommend this restaurant!! Five stars is not enough.“

“I immediately enjoy the energetic Decor in color and the atmosphere felt peaceful and inviting the food was amazing. I enjoyed the kiosk ordering system. The food came out quickly and hot. I enjoyed how the queso had fresh ingredients on top so that so that we could mix it before eating the tortillas were delicious crisp light can't wait to go back. I ordered the chicken fajita Taco, my counterpart ordered a shrimp taco. Affordable“

“Being from Cali, my wife and I we’re very familiar with Baja Fresh. My wife missed it a lot. She was excited to try the new place. The food was ok, certainly not spectacular, it was a little skimpy on the meat and more expensive than I remembered. $20 for a taco, a burrito and a drink??!? I could have gone to the finest Mexican restaurant in town and order a much more reasonable combo plate. Also, bring so new, none of the young employees had a clue as to what they were doing. Not in any rush to come back.“

The level of care we received from Gage, the manager on duty, and the others who stopped by our table was unmatched! “This was a great experience tonight. The food was good, drinks were on time and the service was very good. Slight mix up on our table kiosk but we're immediately helped out by Steven who is a manager here. He appreciated our honesty for telling him we had the wrong check and after he corrected it, he helped us out for being honest and took a good percentage off for us. Thank you Steven! And Anya our server was quick to be here for us when we needed her to be. Thanks again! We will be back!“

“The ambience of the outdoor patio seating can't be beat. With the heaters and fire pits on a cool evening, it was the perfect spot for our final dinner in Scottsdale. The food was outstanding— especially the enchiladas, and the service was terrific. One of our best meals of the trip!“

“Third time in and I can assure you they do not put as much care into the look of the food as what the videos and pictures show. The last time in was last week. The service was incredibly slow. the food was slop on foam plates. I just don't know what is happening to this place. I have had better food at chain restaurants. If you want good Mexican food, this isn't the place to go. It is very unfortunate.“
