My friend and I were super excited to try this place since we saw it on instagram and it seemed okay but the restrooms are so dirty and there were bugs everywhere. I immediately went back to my friend and told her we needed to leave. She said the water tasted strange as well.

Got our food to go. We had a groupon for 2 large bento boxes and 2 large drinks. We chose a chicken Katsu with double potstickers and a croquet & a Pork Katsu with croquette, potstickers and shrimp spring roll. For our drinks we got brown sugar milk boba. I also ordered a lime squeezling. My daughter was a little disappointed with the chicken katsu curry. It's breaded different and not as good as the pork. The sides are delicious. The drinks are divine. We love the anime atmosphere.

Update: Nothing but respect for Sun and Gia. They really took our experience seriously and showed humility, professionalism, and a sincere desire to provide the best experience for their guests. The manager profusely apologized and did everything to make our 2nd visit perfect. We would have loved to dine in but had plans for the evening.The food was amazing, I highly recommend the Sixth Moon Fried Rice. It was incredible! The coffee and grape drink (forgot the name, sorry) gets an A+ as well. Next time we are in, we will try dining in, we had to do a pickup due to plans, but the atmosphere is very pleasant, so we look forward to our next visit.The team here demonstrated exactly what customer service should look like. They took our feedback seriously and made it right. You have my respect, and we will return. Thanks!-We would have loved to try your food, but when we get told to sit anywhere and then don't see a server or get a drink after 10 minutes, in an EMPTY store? No introduction? Water? Nothing? Really?

When you go in there is a bar to the left and then a seating area to the right. There is only one table with seats that have backs, the rest are 4-legged stools. There is a cute wall of cartoon/action/anime figures. There is also one of those posters in the corner that you can stand behind and put yourself in a wanted poster picture.We got the Groupon with the large bento box and 2 drinks. We had the lime drink and Oreo milk - both were great! We also had the vegetable spring roll, shrimp spring roll, octopus balls, seaweed, sweet & sour tofu, ketchup spaghetti, and chicken curry. The ketchup spaghetti was surprisingly good. We were expecting just spaghetti on ketchup but it was a nice mixture with some kick to it. The octopus balls were a bit mushy but did taste good. It was a good amount of food that also came with rice and cabbage. We didn't finish everything, it was so filling. We will definitely go there again.

Considering the cost for the food and the drink, I was pretty underwhelmed by the quality of the meal. I Took three sips of my drink and called it quits. It was the passion fruit. It tasted like slushy sugar, water, and my bento box had rice that tasted starchy and dry. The tofu was just not tasty especially with the sauce. I could not get over the sauce, the sauce had no flavor to it, .

Found this remarkable neighborhood restaurant on Groupon and went there immediately. What a treat! We were greeted by the warmest and most helpful staff ever. Their food and drink suggestions were spot on. Our two delicious bento box dinners were tofu and fish and included six Asian Fusion sides. What a treat! Most importantly, we had a great time!Zen Zen Dojo will likely become one of your favorite restaurants.
