First time since change of ownership; disappointing. At first things were good: service was prompt, explanation of the menu was thorough. But as the restaurant became busy, things went south. Food was slow coming out, and when it did, the lamb was tough and the fish slightly overcooked. Check-back was late in coming. An outstanding and memorable dining experience. Refined and elegant dining room in an historic setting. Attractive wine-by-the-glass offerings. Very appealing menu. Delicious soups (french onion and vichyssoise), appetizer (foie gras) and entree (duck breast). Perfectly paced service by our attentive server Ron. Soft piano music added to the wonderful ambiance. Already looking forward to our return.
A real gem near downtown Tucson! Quite a large menu for both food and drinks, but so many good options it was hard to choose! We enjoyed everything we had for dinner, all in vintage Tucson surroundings.
