I thought the food was good! I ordered the chicken tinga tlayuda and it was delicious. My son ordered a burrito and it was tasty too. The only complaint I have is the tres leches cake was a bit dry and it has this artificial flavor to it. I’ll bring my partner next time.

Creative dishes, amazing breads, ready-to-go items including tamales, pastries and desserts, and more. Whether a quick salad to-go or a sit down breakfast or lunch, Barrio Charro has lots of options, and conveniently located. And try the caldo de queso too!
The speed and service during the lunch hour was seamless. Great staff & the Rincon Relleno was wonderful. Bread held up nicely, especially since it was packed full of deliciousness. Certainly a must try, no matter what part of The Old Pueblo you live in, it worth the drive.
