Bought a bread and a bunch of small cookies. Everything was amazing and reasonably priced. Didn't realize it was closing as I got there. They didn't make me feel rushed or uncomfortable.
I was in the mood to try something "new to me." We stopped by mid morning on a Saturday. La Baguette is connected to connected to Ghini's restaurant, but thankfully they have a separate entrance. They have an assortment of fresh baguettes and other savory and sweet loaves of bread in addition to pies and other pastries, croissant, cookies, cakes and more. We generally recommend this bakery. Usually on Saturdays, the place is brimming with pastries and cakes in the cold case. We come once a month from San Tan Valley and stock up, which is a ways to go with gas prices so high . This past Saturday, there was a limited amount of pastries and what we bought was very good as usual. However we bought 3 different cake slices and got home and they were stale!
