Never fails. Safeway advertises AMAZING PRICES which I almost always find means they don't have the stock they advertised, and if you arranged for a pickup order, they will sub regular-priced items and charge the higher price, or the advertised price will suddenly not be in the system at checkout, or, you will have to HAGGLE ON EVERY SINGLE ITEM to get the advertised price. Amazing customer service from the lady watching the self check out line just now. She is young, I didn't catch her name.She was so polite so nice so helpful. I was standing in line and there were two open self checkouts but there were peoples carts blocking the way and she was able to come assist and politely move them for me so I can move forward. I'm puzzled by the comments about rude staff. Not once in four years has that been my experience. On the contrary, I have seen nothing but friendly and courteous employees at this location. One complaint is digital coupons though - too many glitches so I don't bother with them anymore.
