I’m so sad it took me so long to find out about this place. I’ve driven past for years weekly, but it’s tucked a little ways in the shopping plaza.

Cafe Thang is a locally owned, family-run coffee shop known for its Asian coffee, which is stronger than most. The atmosphere is great, with games, seating, and good vibes to chill or catch up with friends. The Tri-colored Che drink with extra Boba is refreshing, and the Vietnamese coffee and bubble waffle treat make a perfect snack on a hot Tucson day. The egg cream latte tastes like heaven in a cup, and the egg cream coffee, mint coffee, and coconut cream coffee are top favorites. The folks here are very nice and friendly, and the hospitality is kind and sweet, with staff going out of their way to help. There is plenty of seating inside, comfortable surroundings, and plenty of parking in a huge lot, and it seems very handicapped friendly. However, be aware that the menu can be confusing for those unfamiliar with Vietnamese drinks, so doing research before going is recommended. Pricing is slightly more than competitors, with a waffle, taro boba, and lavender matcha costing $22. Despite this, regulars drive 25-30 minutes just for this coffee, visiting at least twice a month, and have never been disappointed.
