I had been meaning to try this place for a while and finally made it last week, and it was excellent. The atmosphere was lively but not too loud, with plenty of tables and couches. There is some nice local art; we even noticed a friend's work displayed there, although we had no idea it would be until we saw it. The barista was patient and helpful. I'll be moving to an apartment a block away soon and can't wait to make this my regular coffee place.
Cartel is what I was looking for when I moved to Tucson: quality coffee & a place to work on a laptop for a few hours. Campbell is industrial inside and Downtown is more atmospheric with good art & natural light, both great with friendly staff and I appreciate that they have always have at least one Gluten Free Treat, as well as the lavender syrup which is delish when they have it.
