This is one of my favorite restaurants for good ol' homestyle dishes. I took my mother there for her birthday because she loves mashed potatoes. I knew she would love there's which she did.

Enjoyed our first-ever visit while moving son to the University. Server was friendly and helpful when she learned it was our first visit. Food quite good and my son decided this is his new favorite place to go.
Food was tasty with good serving sizes. First round of bread (croissants) free but if you want more then those aren't. We had the tenders platter and Dijon chicken. We had leftovers from appetizer and both entrees for a nice lunch next day, too.

Dining/ seating area was clean, warm and inviting. We were seated almost immediately with delay.
Tableside service was flawless, attentive and purposeful. Our beverages of choice were well monitored and well maintained.
I question if anything here is actually made from scratch as the name implies. Cheddar's, masquerading as a real kitchen, flawlessly excels at pawning off microwaved questionable quality prepackaged frozen...
