I'm a latina who grew up on Mexican food, and although no one can ever beat moms cooking. Molinitos definitely comes in as a close second. I do wish the carne asada tacos were a little more like street tacos and had a little more char on the carne asada, but overall, the food is good.
This resturant has been a staple in North West Tucson for many years. They offer great food at reasonable prices. The food hasn't changed much over the years and that is why I like it. The servers are always friendly and I never feel like I have to wait too long for my food. If you have the chance to visit aren't the designated driver have one of their house margaritas. Frozen or on the rocks, both delicious ?
