This is a cute restaurant and the staff was nice however my experience was underwhelming. It was my first time visiting Ghini's, I ordered the Eggs Provencal thinking I couldn't go wrong since it was the Winner of Tucson Weekly's Essential dishes. It was 2 sunny side up eggs, 1 whole tomato cut in half and seasoned, and 4 slices of their fresh baked bread. It wasn't bad but it was too simple and something I would not pay $15 for again. This place NEVER disappoints. I just got the grilled brioche breakfast sandwich and OH MY GOD. Phenomenal, never change, and thank you for always being amazing 👏 🤩
So others complained about the service, but they are busy and it is a cafe. Linger with pastries and a delicious coffee drink and it feels just right to me. If you're in a rush, go to Starbucks. But the food won't be anything like the quality at this place. I appreciate that we could bring pastries in from the shop next door.
