Confused about entrance as different from lunch and evening. Gates locked and when I called for help asked me to leave a msg. If I had not been meeting a friend I would have left. She came out and got me.
I’ve never seen a spot like this in Tucson. Was so excited to find a relaxed welcoming atmosphere with good food. The bakery at the back is lovely with ample outdoor seating in the courtyard. The croissant was fresh and flaky and the quiche was really excellent and flavorful. Highly recommend.
We ordered the bruschetta to start with, I had the sfoglia, and my husband had the penne with bolognese added to it. We took a tiramisu to go and it was HUGE. All of it was amazing.
The waitress told us the building was previously a mansion, which is easy to believe because the grounds are absolutely beautiful. I am new to Tucson but this is going to be a hard place to beat. Already thinking about going there for breakfast this morning to try out the bakery...
