I had an absolutely wonderful meal and dining experience here, and had been meaning to go for years, but never managed to given my budget restrictions. However, I signed up to be part of their Birthday Club, and received a really awesome $50 gift certificate (wow!) from them to use for my birthday, and also received a $20 gift certificate at my half birthday, so there's a deal you definitely need to take advantage of, trust me!
The service was so friendly and fun; really pleasant folks, and the food was absolutely delicious, fresh, nicely presented, and the texture of that tempura was fabulous!
My friend and I both got Bento boxes that included shrimp and veggie tempura as well as salmon, salad, and a couple of pieces of nigiri Sushi. Everything was delicious, fresh, and visually appealing. So, along with awesome service and friendly staff, it was wonderful, and I am looking forward to going back.
We went during the week at 1:30 in the afternoon, so it was fairly empty, which was nice and what we preferred. There is outdoor seating under both a covered patio as well as an open patio, and though it was a lovely day, it was just a little breezy to be sitting outside. I'm so grateful that they gifted me through that Birthday Club because I don't know when I would have gotten there otherwise, and I'm thrilled that I finally got to go and it was such a wonderful experience. Highly recommend!
There was a very loud table next to us. 10 women, all of them were very loud with yelling and laughing. A nearby table to them actually asked to be moved outside. We considered the same, but we had just received the dinner. People say kids are loud, but this group was obnoxiously loud. Other than that, food was fine.

The food was good,but there wasn't very much chicken in my hibachi chicken. Soup was mediocre at best. Sushi was good. Our waiter overcharged us for our drinks, also. We caught it and got a bill adjustment. The salad didn't come until the end of the meal. We were not happy and will probably not return.

Sashimi platter was good, although a few pieces were skimpy. What was disappointing was the service. Brought our sashimi with no wasabi, soy sauce, or mixing bowls. Had to ask multiple time to just get what is usually already there. Waitress has probably never eaten sushi.

The food was good as always. They have condensed the menu so you have to ask for items that you what even though they are not on the new menu they are mostly available. The coconut cream brulee was delicious.

She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, checked on us often without being intrusive, and made the whole experience feel so welcoming and enjoyable. Pau was amazing, she was the star of the night. Pau made us feel so welcome and kept a smile through our entire visit. She's naturally a very conscientious young lady. This trip, after visiting 20 years, was the very best. She suggested fabulous items we've not tried, and each time with exuberance. The manager, Kevin what knows how stellar Pau is!!

Fantastic place for sushi at La Encantada. Prices reflect the atmosphere and general vibe of the area, but the rolls are delicious. The crazy monkey roll and the viva Las Vegas roll were our favorites.
Went for a girls’ night and got four rolls to share + drinks and were happy. Our server Luke was amazing and friendly! As it was a Monday night, there was no wait and the area was overall quiet. Recommend for a date night or a girls night especially on a Monday for all-day happy hour.
