Guillermo's Double L in Tucson is a historic and traditional Mexican food restaurant known for its large menu that offers a great variety of Mexican staples. The restaurant features two spacious seating areas and a back room suitable for larger groups. Customers, including retirees, appreciate the consistent service and friendly staff, with a special mention of a server with big glasses. The food is highly praised, especially the #7 chimichanga and mole dishes, which are flavorful and not too sweet or chocolatey. The restaurant is renowned for its attentive staff who ensure prompt service, refilling drinks and setting up tables quickly, even for large groups. Recent guests enjoyed the artwork of Arizona treasure Ted De Grazia in the front lobby, adding to the old-fashioned charm. Although they ran out of flan, the deep fried ice cream was highly recommended and considered better than any flan. Overall, Guillermo's Double L offers a wonderful, friendly dining experience with good food and excellent service.
