It's not my recommendation to stay here when the hotel is sold out. The noise level carries over throughout the halls and restaurant. The food quality was sub-par. I've eaten here before and the quality then was far better. It was hard not to feel as though the chef just pushed the food out (cold - unseasoned - over cooked) because of the high demand.
I very much enjoyed the breakfast at the signature grill. The full buffet was a good value and I was surprised it included pancakes or French toast made to order. That along with the great buffet selection and omelet station set this breakfast a notch above the majority of similar resort restaurants. My wife really loved the pozole, so the southwest vibes are also present.
It was an absolute treat to visit the Signature grill at JW Marriott Star. Mr Rizzo was kind and welcoming and the food was good. My favorite part was the crem brûlée. And how Me Rizzo came by to check on us. Great waitress and service. We will definitely be back.
