First time to Substance and it was really, really good. Me (not vegan) and wife (20yr vegan) got the spicy 'chicken', small fries, large kale salad and a chocolate shake and loved all of it!The seitan chicken was super well cooked, spicy, crunchy, with pickles, tomatoes and shredded lettuce on a toasty sesame bun. Great vegan diner food, we can always rely on Substance for the good stuff. Best vegan Sonoran dogs we've ever found. Thick diner fries that are seasoned great, and great vegan ranch. We love their new spot behind Screwbean Brewery, I hope it serves them well! We always go out of our way to find Substance Diner. Yum!
