Down home cooking and service, I was away for a couple of years, didn't know what to expect. Some new faces, the food and service were great as I remember. My go to meal is biscuits and gravy, I have yet to find a restaurant in the Tucson that serves better, if you find an one that has better service and food,let me know.
I have been a customer for many years! The staff treat everybody like family and make sure you are taken care of. Viv herself is a non-stop dynamo who makes sure everybody is welcomed and that they enjoy a great meal at a very reasonable price.
This is a great traditional non-chain place for breakfast. Friendly, attentive staff, and it attracts a lot of locals. We were there on a Monday morning at about 8:40, and had no problem getting a booth. My wife had a Belgian Waffle and a Coke, and I had the Chorizo Scramble, hash browns, buttered sourdough toast, and coffee. The food came fast and was tasty and exactly what we wanted.
