Wow! Wow! Wow! Zemam’s is a must try hidden gem in Tucson! My first go with Ethiopia cuisine and it was beyond fantastic! The spice profile of the dishes is amazing, very turmeric forward and with other spices that carry and compliment every bite, not the sometimes “flame you out” that can be associated with some local Sonoran dishes. I used to live in DC which had an AMAZINGG Ethiopian cuisine selection. I have yet to find a place that matches the quality until coming to Zemams!!!! Friendly service and delicious authentic food 💯
This place is fantastic. It was myfirst time having Ethiopian food. I got takeout and the gentleman at the front was super kind and helped me order a variety of options to try and all I can say is WOW. I feel like I have really been missing out. The food is fantastic. So much depth of flavor I can't pick a favorite. They also have a little shop with some beautiful items for sale. I don't live in the area but will be sure to stop in whenever I am in town.
