This is an older establishment that is very convenient and open. To be honest I was a little unsure about it. With that said, the filet minion and potatoes were fantastic and well worth the trip.
Cowboy Cookin is conveniently located close to a hotel we stayed at. We were not disappointed. The food and service were outstanding. Try the homemade desserts. They are fabulous.

I had the chicken pot pie and was a little disappointed that it did not come I'm the form of a pie. It was a bowl with the pie internals and then a pastry piece sitting in it. The top part of the pastry was light and flaky, but the bottom of it was not. The pie filling was quite good and overall the dish was good. But I think they are doing quite a stretch to call this a pot pie. The mashed potatoes were very good and the pre-dinner rolls were fantastic.
