“Other than maybe not being able to find a seat, Old Hand has been in my top 5 coffee shops for a few years.

Very friendly and accommodating staff and a low-key vibe for coffee dates or study sessions. A well-run establishment.

Parking: Does not have their own parking lot, but has a parking lot across the street, or parallel parking along the road in front of the store. IF it's a very busy day it can be difficult to find a close parking spot, but a little walk is good for you.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly, plastic cups available for drinks/water and lots of snacks. Bench seating available. Space for kids to move.

Wheelchair accessibility: The ramp from the road to the sidewalk is not in front of the store, might have to detour if needed (the store is in the middle of the block). Entrance IS wheelchair accessible, slight incline into the store, but no stairs. The ordering counter is a bit high which could be seen as an issue for some - but staff are always helpful. The bathroom is very spacious.”

Place is always excellently clean, and has such a warm and comforting atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re sitting at your kitchen table.

They play great music at a reasonable volume, and the decor just really pulls this place together.

The food is absolutely PHENOMENAL. It is hands the absolute BEST sushi place in the entire lower mainland, without a doubt you will NOT regret it.

The absolute friendliest human beings I’ve ever had the pleasure of interacting with. Personable, courteous and incredibly sweet people! They say hello to you the second you walk in and make sure you know they’re saying goodbye and to be safe. I’ll never go anywhere else. 🥰”

It’s McDonald’s, everyone. The people working the window, counter and kitchen don’t make enough money to deserve the venting on these reviews.

They just got my kids’ orders wrong again which happens well over 50% of the time, (especially recently and not just this location) but I don’t sweat it. I leave enough time to be able to go back and get the order fixed and I usually end up with free food for myself.

I just had a young woman take my order perfectly, ask the right questions, very smoothly use the register, and even use her headset to give the kitchen a heads up about the special order and it still came out wrong. But, again, these are, most often, young people learning a variety of skills. They’re going to mess up a lot. I can’t recall a time that things didn’t go right with an order on purpose.

As a specific suggestion, I think it would make sense for McDonald’s corporation to build in a system fix in the form of a button that says “Plain Patty (no seasoning)” and save themselves buying my dinner a few dozen times every year.”

“Usually this tim hortons is really great, and there convient for being open 24 hours however the one time i cannot drive to go there im wanting an iced cap they turn there delivery off..? Like if your open 24 hours pretty sure your not supposed to turn delivery off as i work in a similar industry and your not supoosed to turn your delivery off to make sure you dont lose guest counts and sales.. pretty. Obvious this is how you lose it lol. Anyway so i call to ask whats going on and they said ya we turn off our delivery at 9 pm and mobile. I think whiever owns this place should probably follow up on their employees turning off a point of sales system , but thats just me. Anyways yall ruined my night and super disappointed cause i really Preached to everyone how much this tim hortons was great until now . Now yall are just mediocre imo . But great way once again to lose loyal customers ”

The tuna was fresh and the BC roll was one of the better ones that I’ve had. Very pleasant and polite service and nice atmosphere with the big cherry blossom in the middle of the store. Clean restaurant and nice atmosphere. Plenty of parking around although it appears to be a busy strip mall. Easily accessible for anyone with physical mobility challenges. Would recommend and return.”

“Visited this place to finish off a castle fun park visit on a rainy day and this place hit the spot.

We were the only ones in at the time we arrived so naturally service was pretty prompt.

They had freshly made spring rolls which we ordered, they were great.

We each had pho of different kinds and they were absolutely humongous.
I'm not one to waste food but I just couldn't fit all that broth.

Prepare for food coma.

It wasn't anything special or insanely delicious, but it was good and it hit the spot.
The broth was pretty basic and so were the meatballs.

Overall decent experience for the price.

The atmosphere was alright. There was such a mixture of themes going on that it felt confusing at times.

We're having pho, are getting tea served in "live, laugh, love" lake themed mugs vs the whole time we were there they were playing a video of a guy riding a motorcycle.

The toppings were so fresh and a good amount of vegetables, but I do think they need to put a little more sauce on it, as I couldn't taste much of it . I don't know about all of you.But the crust means a lot to me on a pizza , The crust here is amazing , fresh, and crispy , not too much ... just the right amount .
