I recently visited Yaffa Cafe in Abbotsford to pick up some food to take home, and I can't say enough good things about this place! Even though I was just there to order, Sam, the owner, along with his wonderful wife and daughter, treated me like royalty. Their warm hospitality and genuine kindness made the experience unforgettable.

Since it was my first visit, they were incredibly generous, offering me bites of various dishes to help me decide what to order. I ended up ordering the beef and chicken shawarma, hummus, and a few other items, and every bite was a delightful taste of home. The food is authentic, homemade, and bursting with the rich flavors of true Mediterranean cuisine.

If you're a fan of Middle Eastern food or just looking for an incredible experience, Yaffa Cafe is a must-visit. “Absolutely, utterly fantastic. Myself, my wife, and our 1 month old arrived late, around 930pm after a long drive and we were welcomed in by the owner and her cute as a button 3yo daughter. Mom cooked us up an outstanding, home-cooked Thai feast while her lovely little daughter delighted us with conversation, met our baby, and even brought our drinks (again she's 3)! Food was exceptional and the atmosphere was totally at home. This was not a restaurant experience, this was a warm invitation into a family home for a from-scratch Thai meal. Mom (who was pregnant herself and still working hard) sent us home with a few extra coconut waters on the house for my wife's recovery from birth and the family waved goodbye as we headed out the door. “I just discovered this great little donut shop and I don't even live in Canada!!! (FB & IG are great for advertising!). I contacted them to have a gift box of donuts set up for my friend to pick up on her birthday and they helped me figure out how to do this easily (and probably earlier than they'd like because I forgot about the time difference...oops!) “Been watching Brgr Brgr on social media since they opened and I’ve been Jonesing to try their burgers ever since because they looked delicious but the glitch being that I live in Langley so it’s a bit of drive to either their Abby or Chilliwack location to check the burgers out. As it happened, yesterday my daughter and I were out that way and I said let go check out Brgr Brgr in Chilliwack and I’m oh so glad very we did! We both ordered the “All Beef Burger” (with the addition of sautéed onions) and it would be sheer understatement to say they did not disappoint. In all honesty, hands down and without any doubt whatsoever, it was the very best hamburger I have ever eaten!!! The brisket/chuck patty from Lepp Farm was absolutely mouthwatering, so very tasty and juicy and the bun in which it was enclosed was superb in that it was soft, tender and delicious. Rest assured whenever we’re close to either location in the future we’ll be back and I highly suspect we’ll simply “find excuses” to take the drive just go back for more of these incredible burgers. I want to also make mention that our server (sorry, I didn’t get her name) was delightful and a pleasure. Thank you, Brgr Brgr, you totally rock and we’ll be spreading the good word about you at every opportunity!“

“This is a good place to order pizza from. I ordered a large pepperoni pizza and it was great overall. The pizza crust is soft, but baked just fine, even though I heard customers complaining about it being undercooked. The sauce is flavourful and plentiful, along with the pepperoni topping. The pizza could use more cheese though. I would give Chicago's Pizza Twist a try.“

“Five stars for consistently good sushi. This is our go to place for Sushi take out. I really like that they don't use styrofoam, instead your food is packed in compostable eco friendly containers. Add that to the fresh fish expertly handled and you have a great take out experience. Our one time eating in was not so great, they definitely are take out focused. The atmosphere suffered from a couple of large tables right in the middle of the dining room dedicated to take out boxes and bags. In addition to that you almost get the feeling that you are inconveniencing the server by eating in. I will definitely continue to support this place for take out. Sushi Nari is getting my business tonight, keep up the great work Chefs!!“
