“Skylea was fantastic! She arrived with two bins of toys, books and a first aid kit. She was instantly engaging with our daughter and our daughter warmed up to her immediately. As parents we felt very confident leaving our child in Skyleas care. She was also able to accommodate us relatively last minute and the whole process was very easy. Highly recommend Skylea.“

“I used to come here a loooot for Hot Choc but recently tried the Nelson fog (which is just a superior London Fog). Drinks are always 10/10 and idk if he is cheaper than other stores (not a local) but he for sure isnt expensive.
Also if you so wish you can talk to him about anything and get great conversation with your drink.“

“I bought a bag of Night Owl beans to take back to Salt Spring. Even though I’m loyal to our SSI roaster, I need to say how excellent this coffee is. The blend of beans strikes a perfect balance for me. Will head straight to you next time I’m in Nelson.“

“Some of the best hotdogs and milkshakes ever! Their milkshakes are very decent size (two big scoops) so make sure you are not too full! Great staff and awesome patio to enjoy the weather. Lots of free parking in the residential area behind at the top of the hill.“

“We went tonight to celebrate my grandson’s 11 birthday and Drake made him feel so special. Atmosphere was amazing and contributed to the experience. The best was the cheese pizza with a side of bacon, peppercorn sauce and coconut pie. Service was excellent!“

“Delightful, casual, local cafe with history in the area. Charlie & Daylen served us the featured sandwich (breakfast burrito) & our coffees. We probably could have shared the burrito it’s so hearty & big! Come with an appetite. They serve no.6 coffee (also a locally brewed brand) and feature a local artist on a gallery wall. A great spot for a Baker Street hang. I even stuck around to get some work done after my lunch meeting.“
