Surprised and disappointed that a surcharge of $2 added after request for “more spicy” was made when ordering seafood dish. It was still not spicy. Portions were good size. Companion had a lunch box with sloppy wet sushi roll. Just ok for $50 lunch for 2.
This sushi isn’t only sushi it’s a sushi from heaven also the best part is greeting in Japanese which reminded me family guy I had to go outside dew times just to make the cooks say that. Good staff good food but taste is something else above 5 star.

Ebisu Sushi Japanese Restaurant offers great food with a few hiccups. Some orders were missing sauces, and the phone lines can be busy. The ambiance is chill, perfect for unwinding after a long day. The chicken teriyaki lacked flavor, but the rolls and sashimi are top-notch. The presentation and preparation show care and attention to detail. While the deep-fried gyoza may not be preferred by all, the rest of the menu receives high praise. The service is friendly and welcoming, making it a popular spot for many customers. Located near ARC, the restaurant offers a combination of Japanese and Korean dishes, with a large menu that includes kid trays for lunch and dinner, which kids enjoy for their taste and variety. The restaurant is a small joint with 4-person booths, providing a cozy dining experience. Many visitors have been going for years, finding Ebisu Sushi to be the best sushi place in Abbotsford, with consistently good food for dine-in and takeout. The food comes quickly, and staff are friendly and prompt. Prices are a bit higher than other sushi places, but the quality makes up for it. Overall, Ebisu Sushi is a great choice for sushi lovers looking for a friendly atmosphere and tasty meals.
