“Had the samosas here. Ten for $13.00 ($1.25 each +tax) and they were very good. Good size stuffed full with just the right amount of heat.
I called ahead to order and the young lady was very nice on the phone and in person.
I must say the front is rather small but the case was absolutely full of sweets.

“We did catering for our company for 3 days. In total, they made 5 deliveries over 3 days, and were very punctual. Showed up early and all orders were correct. Jas and his brother were very helpful in ordering as well as delivery. Food was very tasty. Every person that had a combo said they had extra left over so they got to have two meals out of one combo. We mostly ordered the chilli chicken and shahi paneer and both were very tasty, and naan were well cooked. Highly recommend if you are doing catering for a business or party!“

When it comes to taste, it’s like having the Queen's chef whip up a feast just for you—if the Queen fancied spice, that is.

But here's the rub: speaking with them is a bit like deciphering Shakespearean English after a pint too many. The lingo barrier can leave you scratching your noggin. And the owner? Let's just say he carries himself like he's presiding over the East India Trading Company. Proper proud, that one.“

“We had our first take out from Zaika and enjoyed it immensely! I was very happy with the service that I encountered on the phone and in the restaurant for pick up. The dishes were absolutely loaded to the very top with sauce which I appreciated. I enjoyed the samosas which were a little different to what I was used to as they were salted on the outside and had a tasty potato based filling. The naan was good. We were a little disappointed with the Daal that we ordered and found it very hot for our taste level but all of the other dishes met our expectations. Overall, excellent first impression.

“I have never ever given a review to any of the restaurants, even tho I work in one of the restaurants in Abbotsford. But definitely, this place has amazed me with the food. Every single thing I order from here, gives me the authentic Indian flavours. I lived in Surrey for almost 2 years, but none of the restaurants were upto the mark. The quality plus the quantity is so decent. Must recommended restaurant if you wanna taste actual Indian food!!“

“Been here once before. Food is tasty but the place is pretty bare-bones, so just expect that. I didn't see a washroom for customers but it was alright. I took my food and ate at a nearby park.

“I've been reading other reviews saying how the samosas are "not good". In my experience, every samosa I've ordered has been great. Crunchy and flaky, with tasty filling. Always hot and tastes fresh enough. I think ill be buying them more often, and if I receive a bad samosa then I will update my review.Amazing price by the way. I ate lunch today for 3 bucks. Now I'm craving more and may order some for dinner.“

“I have only ordered take out here, but it is always so delicious and a great price! My one complaint is I always end up waiting around for my order, no matter if I show up when they tell me to or I am late. I wait at least 15-25 minutes, one time was 40 minutes. I once saw people waiting over 45 minutes to pick up a large order that had been placed several days ahead. It is worth the wait to be sure, but I wish I didn't have to wait.“
