“This is the third time we have had food from here. We especially enjoy the fish pakora and now also the fish and chips. The fish is moist, flavourful and very generous servings. The batter on the fish for fish and chips is light, crispy, not greesy allowing for the natural flavourl of the fish to come thru. In addition to the piece of fish being large thick pieces that remind you of slicing a steak, the chips are crispy and light. To our surprise and delight the meal also included a bowl of delicious gravy for dipping and tartar sauce. All for $15 each meal. I ordered Chi tea, the best ever and I have had a lot. So I highly recommend ordering from Mother India. We will definitely be going back to try more dishes.“

The butter chicken was rich and creamy, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice, and the naan was warm and fresh. The staff was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. “We did catering for our company for 3 days. In total, they made 5 deliveries over 3 days, and were very punctual. Showed up early and all orders were correct. Jas and his brother were very helpful in ordering as well as delivery. Food was very tasty. Every person that had a combo said they had extra left over so they got to have two meals out of one combo. We mostly ordered the chilli chicken and shahi paneer and both were very tasty, and naan were well cooked. Highly recommend if you are doing catering for a business or party!“

“Great Indian dishes. Medium spicy was still tiny bit too much but it’s good food. Naan. Samosa. Biryani Lamb. Enough to take home for lunch or dinner tomorrow. Picky but I would’ve liked a thinner spoon and fork to pick up food easier. Hard to pick up food with blunt edge, but friendly. Had to ask for napkins too so a bit of thoughtfulness would have been nicer.“

“I have never ever given a review to any of the restaurants, even tho I work in one of the restaurants in Abbotsford. But definitely, this place has amazed me with the food. Every single thing I order from here, gives me the authentic Indian flavours. I lived in Surrey for almost 2 years, but none of the restaurants were upto the mark. The quality plus the quantity is so decent. Must recommended restaurant if you wanna taste actual Indian food!!“

“Been here once before. Food is tasty but the place is pretty bare-bones, so just expect that. I didn't see a washroom for customers but it was alright. I took my food and ate at a nearby park.

“I've been reading other reviews saying how the samosas are "not good". In my experience, every samosa I've ordered has been great. Crunchy and flaky, with tasty filling. Always hot and tastes fresh enough. I think ill be buying them more often, and if I receive a bad samosa then I will update my review.Amazing price by the way. I ate lunch today for 3 bucks. Now I'm craving more and may order some for dinner.“
