Butchart Gardens Coffee Shop

I dislike all drinking teas, so have coffee with my afternoon tea. I commented to out server, that it would have been much preferable to have coffee served in an individual French Press, rather than from a thermos (not great coffee). Also, it is much "classier", in keeping with the overall experience.

Beautiful location, we love Butchart Gardens. Service was very slow. Disappointment we could only try one tea. We had hoped to pay more to have a second cup. Food was excellent.

The food and atmosphere was fantastic, but you maybe get too much tea. The pace of the (delicious) snacks means you're either guaranteed a bathroom break or too many tannins in the final cup of tea.

We really enjoyed our vegan and vegetarian afternoon teas at Butchart Gardens. The service was attentive and knowledgeable, and the food and teas were delicious. And of course the view of the gardens is spectacular!

Food was good but could have been a little hotter. Service was good and food came quickly. Waitress was very pleasant.

This tea was amazing. We went for a walk in the gardens then warmed up with tea + infront of the fire. DEFINITELY I would recommend. The service was also very helpful in explaining the tea (food plus choice of teas). Thanks, will be back.

Afternoon Tea in the conservatory was a wonderful experience in a lovely setting. Welcoming staff and excellent service. A nice assortment of teas, miniature sandwiches, scones and small desserts.

Who told staff that it’s ok to enter their own tip in the POS?? This has been happening for years at this location!! Not everybody needs unwanted “assistance” with Canadian tipping culture.
Food was good but heftily overpriced. One leaves feeling deceived.
