After eating and going home, I vomited all night long⋯ Others said before that they didn’t believe it and they spent their own money to suffer the consequences. Please be careful when sharing this with everyone⚠️ to avoid lightning!

We were seated at the back of the restaurant and waited for over 15 minutes before anyone came to take our orders. The servers were quite rude and unkind to us. I understand that it can be busy, but I believe there's no excuse for treating customers that way. This location is my favorite place for hot pot, but I don't think I would recommend it to my friends or return again 😷

On November 25th, before 7 PM, the male server displayed a very poor attitude, with an expression of disdain. He is not suitable for this job and is advised to consider a career change as soon as possible

Yet another great hotpot place in Burnaby. Green tea was noteworthy.

The stinky tofu is stinky and tastes like goat. But the other soups tasted great

Individual hotpot, really good value about 15-18 dollars for set meal for yourself, comes with 3 rice refills, I go here pretty often for any hotpot craving, instead of going to an ayce restaurant

Fun and unique hot pot establishment on Kingsway. Good value and tasty, with quality ingredients.

One caveat is that this place TRULY embraces the idea that your pot better be hot and STAY hot... there is no dial to change or turn off the heat on the heating element below your bowl so you're in for it once its lit.

That said, some welcome comfort food for the winter, and the portions are quite big. Recommend going for the double meat as it still runs you under $30 with tip which is good value in this day and age.

Vegetarian options: Multiple vegetarian options.

Parking: some areas of free parking nearby.

Wheelchair accessibility: ground floor accessible.

Be careful not to eat instant noodles that are too oily and smell too bad, as the tomatoes are also smelly and sour.
Overall unpalatable

It's been a few years since I've been to boiling point. It did not disappoint.

There was a lineup when I get there, as usual. It went by fast which was good!

The service was great. The food was tasty as I remembered it. And it was nice to see them so busy.

I'll definitely come back more often as it's getting colder.

As loyal customers who have dined at this restaurant more than 20 times, me and my family can say that we truly enjoy their food. However, today’s experience was extremely disappointing.

I placed a takeout order over the phone, which totaled $62.48 (rounded to $62.50). My 11-year-old went to pick up the order, bringing $65.50 and placing it on the Payment Tray. The correct change should have been $3, but only $2.50 was returned. Despite the heavy rain, my child made two trips back to inform the staff about the shortage. Unfortunately, the staff claimed they couldn’t remember receiving the full amount, and my child returned empty-handed. At this point, me and my girl all were feeling very frustrated.

When I called the restaurant myself, they changed their explanation, saying they “assumed the missing change was a tip.”
This process is completely incorrect. All change should be returned to the tray, allowing the customer to decide whether or not to leave a tip.

To retrieve two coins, I was asked to make a third trip back in the cold, hungry, and rainy weather, which was simply too much. Additionally, during the phone call, the staff’s tone showed no sign of apology for the inconvenience caused, nor did they acknowledge any fault. Instead, I was met with rude and impatience, which only added to my frustration.

I won’t make a third trip for a small amount of change, but it is still my money, and the decision on whether it serves as a tip should be left to the customer. What should have been a moment to enjoy delicious food turned into a disheartening experience that ruined our appetite.

I sincerely hope that the management can address this situation and improve the service.
