Food was very good, the cole slaw needs to be done a little differently in my opinion. But I liked the BBQ sauce, and the pulled pork was good. The Brisket didn't go as well with the BBQ sauce but both meats were tender and fairly juicy. The potato salad was good, and the Cornbread was excellent. The service was friendly, quick and welcoming.

BBQ can be hit and miss, yet Butcher Block BBQ has got their menu dialled in! One of the best little BBQ restaurants I’ve experienced in recent years! Located North Burnaby at the corner of Hastings in Gilmour. It’s a small little restaurant that packs so much power in the flavour of their food! I’ve never had french fries like I had at Butcher Block BBQ. When I tasted the french fries for the first time, I thought wow this is impressive. I bet the rest of it is just...

This is probably one of the best BBQ places I've been to. Went for lunch, had the brisket sandwich with baked beans and cornbread, it was such a treat. The meat was so juicy and tender and had a nice crisp crust on the outside. Will be back soon and often.
