I had a family dinner here on Friday. We had Peking Duck course ($73.95), Hot and Sour Soup ($14.95), Sliced Pork with Garlic ($18.95), Deluxe Fried Rice ($17.95).
Peking Duck course was fantastic. Food was more than enough for 4 people. Duck lettuce wrap was fantastic we couldn’t finish all of it. Hot and Sour Soup was rather sour than spicy. It was not the best, but tasted alright though. My parents would’ve liked the soup to be a bit spicy. Sliced pork with garlic was good. Deluxe Fried Rice was fresh and tasty.
Staff was helpful bringing water and more Hoisin sauce. Food was pretty good. We ended up taking some leftovers home. It was a wonderful dining experience at Chongqing!
Terrible. The seafood chow mein was salty, full of MSG, the Shanghai noodles were doughy, the dumplings were bland. On top of that, the manager was rude and unfriendly.
We have been coming here for years. The food is always delicious and fresh. The service by every server is always great, especially Lisa. A cannot miss dinning experience.
Terrible experience. We had a reservation for 10 people at 7:30pm, but when we arrived, the parking lot was completely full with nowhere to park. Fine, that happens. But when we got inside, the manager told us there were no tables available and we’d have to wait 15–20 minutes — even though we had a booking.
Then they told us not to wait inside because “too many people” were standing around and suggested we “go for a walk” — but the restaurant is literally right next to a busy road, with nothing around to walk to.
A few minutes later, they came back and said because our group was too big, they didn’t know how long it would take to seat us. Seriously? Why accept the reservation for 10 in the first place if you couldn’t accommodate us?
We clearly stated the group size when booking, and were told it was no problem. But when we showed up, it felt like they had no idea we were coming. We ended up leaving without eating — total waste of time. Won’t be coming back.
We made reservation and arrived on time, being told we have to wait for another 20 minutes and not sure if there is any available table for us. What is the purpose of reservation?
Had the lunch special and it was very good.
My boyfriend ordered Mapo Tofu from this disgrace of a restaurant. When he took it home and started eating it, it had a very weird chemical taste to it. When he called the restaurant to let them know, the person on the phone was extremely rude and defensive. They told him they can’t and won’t do anything about it. Food sucks. Customer service sucks. Communication sucks. Please Don’t waste your time and money here!
Food isn’t washed. Found maggot in broccoli. All the food was really oily. When it got cold you could see the oil separate.i didn’t tip and she asked why no tip. So rude
Ordered take out. Ordered 2 orders of Beef and broccoli and asked for extra beef. They told me it would be a $5 extra charge per order. Told them no problem. Got my order and one of the orders the container was only 3/4 full and definitely no extra beef. Other order definitely had extra broccoli in instead of beef. I’ve been ordering from here for years. I’m shocked that they would rip me off like that. Very disappointing. This place has really gone downhill. You definitely don’t get what you pay for here. I will not be ordering from here again. It’s too bad.
The food was good. Staff friendly and attentive

Friends invited us to join them and I'm so glad we went. The food was excellent and so was the service. My husband and I used to go to the location on Commercial and 12th but this is much closer to us.
My favorite was the deep fried spicy squid with rock salt, perfectly cooked! We had vegetable spring rolls, crispy chow mein noodles, general Tao's chicken and a vegetable dish in a sauce.
Can't wait to go back. So happy to know they have 4 locations.
The food is really delicious and fresh I personally think that it's the best Chinese food that I ever had👍👍👍👍👍
We used to visit ChongQing quite often in the past bit haven't been back in 6 years. We visited in January and had the Duck Lettuce Wrap lunch special with hot and sour soup. Their lunch specials are good steals at $16.95.
Also had the Shanghai Chow Mein with pork ($18.95) and the Mongolian Beef ($21.95). The Mongolian beef is a bit spicy with the chili and kinda numbing if you eat the chilies but not too bad. The beef is quite tender tho.
Ginger beef was done to perfection my last visit
if you're looking for Szechuan, you can't go wrong here. I've never had a bad meal and l've been going here for years. The atmosphere is not that great but the food and the service are wonderful.
